FUNDRAISING AND SUPPORT

Each project has its own budget targets and we are looking for financial, volunteer and in-kind support to achieve our targets.

The Whanganui River Institute Trust has started the project off with some seed funding, but this long term enterprise will require funding over an extended period.

All funds raised will be managed by the Whanganui River Institute Trust in a dedicated bank account. As the Trust has charitable status, all donations will be eligible for Tax Credits.

At this early stage, our budgets are estimates. Donations can be dedicated to a particular project or to the programme as a whole.

As an early guide, we are looking to raise:

ARMY 8 CONSERVATION & EXHIBITION PROJECT

$140,000

VIRTUAL MUSEUM
$5,000 annually.

CAPITAL PROJECT
$30,000 (for feasibility study and concept design)

DIGITISATION PROJECT

$20,000
